If it the real company, it ignored TPS, and told a falsehood on the phone. Umbrella company for servicing. Would not join one of these in any case. Definitely Spam.

A really badly recorded message informing me that my internet service is being discontinued because (presumably) I haven't paid my bill. It seems to be my lucky week as they called 4 times yesterday from different 01606 prefixes. May their crotches be infested with fleas.

they called me twice no caller id claiming to know the last four digits of my card, part of my address (which was wrong) and saying i made a transaction on the weekend which i did not, they sent me a code and it said to add my card to their apple pay, so obviously they were trying to take my credit card details and commit fraud on my account, they kept saying im verified my identity they then went silent when i said ill call my bank, called bank and they said yep my account is secure and that was a phising.

Tripe about life insurance - the caller refused to terminate the call when requested, insisting that it was very important. He wouldn t end the call in spite of my taunts and finally terminated the call when I used a personal attack alarm (rated at 130dB)

Call from 01315169880, when I called the number was told it was Boots Optician and they new my name. Immediately offered to make an appointment for me, I declined. Today I called the number again answered Boots Opticians, I tried to make an appointment, asked for phone number, gave mobile number told it wasn't on the system, gave home number , not on system not on system! I got this number today,but didn t answer, and just got office background noise on the answer machine. This is despite only having changed my landline number a couple of weeks ago (because of many such scamming and harassment calls).I went ex directory and only let a few friends know the new number. How on earth did these scumbags manage to get the new number, and does anyone know if contacting Fraud Alert will help?
