DANGER ! Definitely Spam. Lady with Indian accent as O2 customer service telling me they had received multiple complaints about signal problem. I said I was satisfied with signal coverage. She then tried to give me a number to call back. I challenged her and told her I thought she not not legit. She started arguing. I said a real customer agent would not argue like that. Put down the phone.

The man with a distinctly foreign accent said that he was from a Broadband provider that uses the 4G network £25 a month for 18 months. This number called me at approx 11.27 am. Caller addressed me by my first name but that was all I could understand, the noise going on in the background (His) drowned out everything else he was saying. I received a recorded message from this number, a robotic voice informed me that there were unusual transactions on my bank card and two amounts were mentioned. Then I was asked to press 1 to check the details of the purchase, I did not press any response button, but deleted the message and checked on this facility. It seems to be a scam trying to make contact with my account.
This us a scammer. Wife just had this message. Our daughter is with her and our son is with me. The message is “Hey Mum, I broke my phone today, please message me on this number 447706598749 urgently x im texting of a friends phone.” Scam!!!
