SCAM Called to say my home appliance cover will be discounted. Gave the name of Chris Jones and a contact number of 08007789104. Gave him false sort code and account number to see where this was going. He asked me to "confirm" my date of birth also gave him a false date, he missed the fact it was April Fool's day. SCAM Eastern European Accent - Matthew Rogers from the International Fob Watch. Asked how I was, I said fine. I said what's this about, sounds interesting. The caller went silent, i could hear them and then they hung up. Suspect this is possibly an investment scam...at a guess. Certainly getting the block treatment.

I asked them to tell me the address to which they claimed the debt was overdue on, but they couldn't. When I told them that I have never had an account with Scottish Power, they became very aggressive and eventually told me to f..k off and hung up on me.

When told I work full time, received a copy and pasted answer about it being home-based which can be done at my convenience. Definitely not trustworthy..
