Had a phone call from 01223 931700 From Amazon but didn't like the content so contacted Amazon they said it was not them and they do not contact you by phone. So must be a scam!
Scam, they are calling using numbers from Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, Bristol and using Mobiles. If you call them out on it they instantly hang up. I've had the same man on the phone 8 times now using different numbers.
Called me four times 15th February but did not answer as didn’t recognise number and no voicemail left.

Unknown number calling a TPS registered private number. It is one digit different from 01226666737, Gamma Telecom Holdings Ltd calling with a driveway scam that has been pestering my home number recently and may be the same. As usual, no message was left on the answerphone, which is always suspicious! Now blocked.

Think it’s a scammer on FB, has hacked into an account on there and pretending to be a widower living in Bedford. The phone is being used in the Preston area. I have blocked before he tries to extract money from me. He will not send current face photo with today’s date in his hand so I know it is a scammer. The FB profile hacked looks very American not Uk. have no idea where they got my number but they didn't leave a message so I'll be blocking them I never trust a call that I don't know or don't leave a message if they are official then they would say who and why I received a call

Call center, domestic and general appliance insurance. If I was with them, I would have had an email reminding me my policy was running out. As I'm with another company and renewing with them, it's just another annoying cold call.
