Fraud A scam - and a very convincing one too !! Purport to be transaction investigators for TSB, and for an hour went over and over questioning, checking transactions, cancelling card, and then working very hard to persuade that account needed closing and reopening with a safe sort code and account number, asking about standing orders and Direct debits!!! Thankfully we realised in time and put a stop to it. They had enough information by then to make it dodgy!!!!

My policy is this - I never answer calls from private or with held numbers, and if a number shows up, but is not listed on my phone I still won`t answer the caller. My phone is for my use, not others to maybe scam call me.

Fraud Called pretending to be instructed by an United Kingdom Insurance Limited. He spoke very convincingly and was stubborn that the call was "not out of the blue" that he was instructed to call me because they had to transfer funds to me in relation to driving accident that was not my fault. I have just received the same call, saying they are working with Nominet. They told me all of the Nominet info about our domain, to make them seem legitimate, but obviously anyone can see this info. I refused to give any info at all, and at that point his tone changed and he said he will send an email confirming who they are. Still waiting for email!!!!!
