Asian male claims to be Joe from Sky insisting on selling me Sky Breakdown cover. Up to 5 calls a day. 1471 results in poorly worded computer generated message re tv repair. He was very upset when I asked him to stop talking and to listen to me. He continued in very, very broken English to talk. I told him never to call again and to remove my number from his list. I’m going to remove my number from Sky too. Good luck.

I'm not sure about this call at all, he said his name was Alex (but I can't remember the name of the company he was calling from). He kept asking me to repeat my answers - even if it was a simple yes or no, I didn't repeat, I just asked him a question - this only happened twice before he hung up on me. I've read that there are some scams where the called attempts to get you to say some key words to record them. I don't know if this was one of those calls - but he did give up really quickly. Definitely left

She told me she was calling about an accident I d had for which I wasn t at fault. I asked her if that was in the BMW and she said "Yes I think so"...I don t drive a BMW and have never owned one! This is the negative balance team from Paypal (See https://www.paypal-community.com/t5/Subscriptions/Paying-an-outstanding-recurring-payment/td-p/1000315 as an example). This team will call Paypal customers if a payment on their account has been paid by paypal but not by the funding source, creating a negative balance. The account holder has 45 days to deal with the issue, before Paypal go to the funding source to ask for the money on a "Chargeback" basis. Legitimate caller if you have a paypal account
