I had a letter from Bluestone Credit Management (or so I thought), the other day. I am now thinking it could be a scam letter because when I did some checking on the internet the phone number (01142 317 413), on the letter was completely different then the phone number given on Bluestone’s internet site. I am now going to forward a copy of the letter to HMRC to see if they can confirm if it is fake.

This number called me at 3.55pm on Wednesday 12th April 2023. Male Indian voice asked to speak to me by name. Obvious scam or nuisance call, so I just hung up.
Said I haven't paid my tax even though I'm not capable at this age.

It worryingly coincides with DAILY Phishing e mails for past 3/4 months reported to report@phishing/ICO and Microsoft. Call from a SCAM gardening & landscaping firm who send round a team (family members) who will not go away until paid large sums of money. My mother paid them nearly £600 for about an hourwork with a chainsaw cutting down healthy trees. They demanded payment in cash & took her to the bank to collect that. I reoprted the offenders to Greater Manchester police who refused to take action.

100% nuisance caller. Starts with a guy who sounds likes he is mildly retarded asking to speak with "accounts payable". Ask who they are, he is evasive and eventually responding "Sovereign" regarding foreign payments. Doesn't matter how politely, or not so politely, you ask them to stop calling they will ring again a few weeks later. We just put him on hold and and leave him there.
