Safe number Is actually an Indian guy calling who refers you to O2 who sign you up for their Sim Only deal. Shame they have a dodgy-sounding Indian guy getting them customers, because it makes O2 look dodgy. FYI: I have received all genuine emails and contract info from O2 and... I received my SIM! 100% legit (apart from the guy calling millions of numbers from India hoping to get someone to say yes so he can earn his referral commission from O2!).

I said I don't drive (although I do), to which he said one of your family members must have had an accident. He said he got my number from the travel accident bureau, but he couldn't tell me what my name is! Claimed to be calling from O2, Indian call centre. Offering a 40% discount off my next bill, but could not tell me the name of the account holder. Hung up when I asked who he wanted to speak to. Said he'd send 2 text messages for me to activate the discount!!!!! Why if he was from O2, and I was with O2 he'd have my details and could active the discount automatically. Block this number.
