SCAM - claims to be HMRC notifying you of a tax fraud registered against you and saying you'll be arrested if you don't press 1 immediately.
They called and when I answered hung up!
This number sent me a message saying my o2 payment had failed and to try again. Link took me to a fake o2 account sign in page. I am not with o2 so clearly an attempt to harvest sign in details.

This is the local council office primarily in response to an issue that you would have raised.
As with the comments above I received two calls from HMRC saying they were filing a lawsuit against me. I was told to press 1 to speak to a case officer who had a strong Indian accent, asked me to spell my name and confirm my address (which I didnt and put the phone down).

The manager I spoke to was rude, and as I said I would contact ofcom re the unsolicited call, he said that’s ofgem you F****ng idiot. my daughter answered this call ..She was told she d had a loan in 2007, and repaid it in 2011. (I don t know how she would have got a loan for £3000 at the age of 11, but obviously this company has better records than us. ) When she continued to talk over the caller, telling him to take us off his list, he told her to go forth and multiply and hung up....proof of a scam
