I had a call this afternoon apparently from this number 08000234567, which I know is the number of the Financial Ombudsman's Office, when the caller said he was from the fraud dept of my bank. I had called the Financial Ombudsman earlier in the day on that number. It did not feel right and when I challenged the caller he put down the phone. Somebody may be able to pick up the numbers of those who have called the FOO? I will tell the FOO by email as their phone system takes too long to get through!
Man with strong Asian accent claimed to be from Vodaphone Pretty sure that was not true. I hung up both times.

02030973793 phoned 28/7/2022. Claimed that money from bank account had been removed and we were due a refund. Identity of caller was garbled but they did name me. Closed call. Treating as dangerous.
Called saying they were from Vodaphine technical team checking on my service. They wanted me to do a speed test first on my laptop, then on my phone. As apperently they were currently working on the line and I was having issues... I'm not with Vodaphone. They eventually hung up.

SPAM this and 11 other land line numbers from this area have called my mobile over the last 2 months. Many have called multiple times, I've lost count. Fed up with them. Previous callers have been from so called Double glazing, green energy and investment companies. The last few were from FX MORGAN CAPITAL who also call from a plethora of mobile numbers- too many to list. The FCA and my bank, after an investigation with fraud squad, have said its a scam company. This. Number called me at 10.45 am. I do not answer numbers I don't know, so I rejected it. Apparently it was from Coventry and I know nobody in that area. Immediately a call came through from a number which apparently was from Cardiff. I rejected that too. Straight away a third number but I haven't even bothered to find out where that was from. These scammers or whatever they are buy up blocks of numbers and register them to different areas in the hope of fooling someone. I NEVER answer strange number
