I ve done some research on this number and found out that it is a call centre called RSVP, based in East London. Not only do they offer wine club memberships and MCN motorcycle subscriptions, but also services from Hillary Blinds. Called me about 5 times before I picked up. Wine club offer in my case. Unsolicited, annoying call.

NUmber appears to be from a company alled DeVere's. A financial services company who offer finnancial services such as wealth planning, tax optimisation schemes, moving final salary pensions to tax shelters abroad, etc. I have had no personal dealings with the company and cannot comment on their service. I was cold called. I assume they saw that I was a former employee of a blue chip company and they offered to move my final salary pension abroad. They could be perfectly legitimate, I cannot say.
Another caller i've no idea who or what it is but glad I missed the call!

SCAM. On 26.04.21 I received a text from +447585759635 claiming to be a HSBC Fraud Alert and that I had made a payment of £240 to Mr C Jones with a clickable link to confirm my details. I dont bank with HSBC, I never have! I didnt click on this link.

SPAM BT Openreach technical dept asking about my internet speed, when did I last test it, what were the values, can I recheck it. Then he asked if I knew how to get an accurate one and he would help me. I asked WHY!! He then wanted the ping rate. In the end I think he wasn’t happy because I am actually annoyed at the service 1.3 megabytes per second! I asked him what is this about and I am NOT letting you near my iPad. He hung up.

I did not answer this call but on checking origin it came from Russia, Kalmytskija region. I do not know anyone in Russia and would say this was diff a potential spam or phishing scam.

This number is compare insurance called me several times this week and I have now blocked the number
Internet Called advising they were from Sky. My internet was corrupted and IP address stolen. They would be sending engineers. I know Sky do not work this way. Asian sounding gentleman gave name as Gavin James Feels like a scam as all through states wont cost a penny. Told him my husband is a police inspector. Call ended.

I too received a call at a funeral at 1020 this morning about so-called PPI, when asked how they got a ex directory number, they were reluctant to answer their source. I informed them a complaint will be submitted for their harrassment, I have also sent a letter to the BBC Panorama. programme who are investigating companies under various names. Overseas female called to say computers in house are receiving malware and asked to log in. She rang off when i asked how she got the house number, asked why exactly she wanted computer access and informed that i am a government investigator. in my experience this caller was not legitimate
