I m ashamed to say that I worked for Ben Reynolds for a short time back in 2012 when his company was called Crown Lawyers. Same story as these, he d get us to find people with debts, take a fee from them and then cut off all contact with them. Supposedly we d get a commission for every job taken on, but he d tell us that the person had decided not to go ahead with recovering their debt and so we got nothing. We then found out that they had agreed to pursue the debt and Ben just wanted to avoid paying us

Really nasty, threatening scam from this number. The message said HMRC had a tax fraud case listed against my name and I should press 1 to connect to the HMRC investigating officer to discuss the case. It then went on to say that if I didn't I would be arrested for tax fraud - I knew it was not true but some people could be really scared and stressed by this horrible scam.

SCAM Fraud BEWARE ! This number has only recently appeared on this site (August 2023) from other people checking. Caller says you've suspicious transactions on your card, knows your name and last four digits of the card. Asks you to check the balance, in my case without any security questions. Hung up on me and didn't call me back when I told him I keep very little in the account, whilst I was silently checking the account in the background. The caller alleged he was calling from O2, asked me how much I top up per month and got very aggressive when I wouldn t tell him and asked why he was calling. If this really is an O2 number, their level of professionalism is shocking.
