I had an accident year before last and was insured with Aviva. The called said they were from Aviva and knew this my car and name and Excess. Said claim now reached stage of getting compensation for my time off work and they could get me compensation in the next few weeks now the car damage and liability had all now been agreed. I only realised something wasn't quite right, when they didn't know the date of the accident. Required a card payment of the excess to release payment.

I've recently had calls of this type daily around the same time and they're always from telemarketers or accident claims hawkers, so draw your own conclusions about this one. Same experience - missed calls and when you ring back there is a message saying number not recognised. My father also had a call from this number - my father asked sternly ‘who are you’ and they rang off immediately.

No idea who this is but I suspect it's a scam call.
Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as robocalls, fake wins, scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. I recommend to block the whole 8435667xxx range (I use the app from these pages, no problems)... People did someone answer this number?
