They call scammed People and promise them to be refunded, in fact they call themselves blockchain refund Department. But you have to transfer a percentage of the amount to a Bitcoin account, and from there they make it disappear in a moment. They can be very convincing, they are dangerous.

I have four calls this morning 2 numbers I did not managed to log, the third was a private number. This one I logged. Each call is telling me they are calling me from Sky, none are native English speakers, telling me I have a problems with my internet connection, which I do not, being an IT consultant I think I am in a good position to know. When I tell them my credentials they hang up. Going to speak to sky and pass all the information on. First caller did ask if I could hear him.

This is a scam number for "Electric Yorkshire". avoid at all costs, they overcharge and try to add extra hidden charges. Calling to cancel, they will refuse to and try to scam you out of giving them more money. Luckily I was wise enough to not give them a penny. This number called with message about "every house needs to be done by 2016" plus "we are in your area" last week - some solar panel scam. Didn t answer - the message is recorded on my answerphone. Same message from 01316483485 yesterday - same result. This lot have probably rented fake numbers from a major phone company which offers them on its web site. Some firms offer call centres numbers which give the person called the idea that it is a local call.

A female voice claiming to be from Microsoft went through a rigmarole of getting the Event Viewer up. I disconnected from the internet and obeyed. She then tried to tell me that these messages were all about hacker activity on my computer, then asked me to use Run to load Internet Explorer, which I do not have on this computer and I relayed the message "Windows cannot find iexplore".
