Got a call from 0208 415 1292 claiming to be from HMRC with an automated message saying that I have tax evaded, without stating my name or anything, and the message carries on saying that they have a warrant on me :P honestly!?!?!?!?... they carry on asking me to press this and that button, which I didn't ofc... I hung up... Careful guys when you get calls from unknown people asking you to press this button or that, you may be giving way for hackers to clone your phone.
Anonymous phone call did not answer it.

Automated voice said "This is Her Majesty's Customs and Revenue". I hung up reckoning it was a scam with the robotic posh voice. Also, its known as Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs for a start! Anyway, beware and best avoid.

Robin called. Sounded foreign. Said he was calling from the call blocking and scam department. When I asked what company he was calling from he said "the national call blocking company limited" i said there was no such thing. Curious how this was 24 hours after "microsoft" called me and I told them I didn't believe them..... Told him the only legit call blocking was The Telephone Preference Service, and he hung up.

AMAZON ‘Julie’ rang my landline and said she was from Amazon Security. An attempt had been made to purchase an iphone using my account at nearly £700. Said it was an emergency that I check my emails while she waited. Said I would phone Amazon Security once I had checked. Caller became more insistent and said we have to block them as an emergency to stop the purchase. Said I would phone my bank to prevent payment. She said bank wouldn’t be able to put a ‘stop’ only Amazon security. Caller hung up.

The best way to resolve your problem is to just wait, most packages arrive they are never just kept at a Royal mail office. They called twice in one week. You always know these people. You answer once, twice and then when you are just about ready to hang up they speak. Lots of back ground noise from their colleagues making more nuisance calls to other poor victims and they ask for you by name but need you to confirm it. You either say they have the wrong number and that person isn t known at this number then hang up or, just say that the line is breaking up and you can t hear them. They get bored really quickly and hang up.
Keep getting calls from this number but they do not leave a message. Telephoned them from my office number and its comes up as a voicemail from CR Assist? Who are they?

I had 16 phone calls from this number (Clinic Compare, part of lasik-eyes) over the space of 5 days asking for me by name because I made an inquiry into laser eye surgery online. They are a waste of time as they want your details to match you with a laser eye clinic. As soon as I said I d already made appointments with other companies she virtually put the phone down on me.
