SCAM Claim to be from infasset.com and able to offer investment advice, directing you to that website. Unable to answer basic questions about whether they have financial licences. After placing an online order with John Lewis. An hour later this number rang without leaving a message. I had not left my landline number within the order process.
Wanted me to do some kind of survey to do with the pandemic, wouldn't take no for an answer so I said I'm at work and can't talk now. He then proceeded to try and call another 8 times that day but I ignored them all!

Missed call. Seems like a premium rate number. No-one should call back. My daughters friend has called back to similar number and has had texts costing HER up to £3 a time several times a day! Her phone bill was over £100.
SCAM - Person claimed they were from UK Insurance Department / Black Horse Finance. Had my name & first line of my address (somewhat disturbingly) and wanted me to verify further information for a PPI refund, even though I had never claimed for a PPI refund. They wouldn't give me a number to call and when I said this couldn't be correct, the date for claiming for PPI has long gone and companies aren't ringing people out of the blue years when they haven't claimed, he hung up.
