Missed call from this number in Bristol to Irish mobile. I was suspicious about this but figured it might be genuine since it was from the UK? I called back, somewhat against my better nature, and was immediately put through to an interactive voice menu with a strong US accent, which asked me to hold and started to read out menu options. No company information whatsoever given so it immediately felt like a scam to draw me in and keep holding, presumably to rack up charges. Hung up right away. Avoid.

This is a company called Business Advisory Services who appear to be a genuine energy broker but they are aggressive and pushy on the phone. Phone call purporting to be from Amazon saying prime membership was due, i should press 1 to go to an agent to make payment, they had the wrong amount and the real payment is not due yet, also the call could not be cancelled the electronic voice carried on until the message was over, this very obviously a scam and the bank agrees. This is also the third time they have tried this one pointless!
