Foriegn guy called said he was from a company called Certik, said I had invested in a company called go365 in 2022, sums of 250 then 500 and then 1000 pounds, he said someone had stolen my identity and was using my identity to invest. This number called Saturday 4th March early to say they were calling on behalf of amazon they were trying to stop our amazon account being hacked and our credit cards charged. Not sure what is going on here, but I got a new sim card today and it was not activated. After installing it into my phone I received an email at 15.46 this afternoon telling me my sim was activated. When I logged into my account online after activation, it showed on my account that I had sent a SMS to this number 07537 452525 at 14.57 today. This was impossible as the sim was not even activated at 14.57 and I definitely did not send any SMS to anyone. I called my Mobile Provider and they are investigating.

An urgent verbal message on a loop advising me that Trojan software had been active on my system and that I should not switch off and should phone this number which I did - they said they were Microsoft (a residential number!?) The person wanted me to hold down the Windows and 'R' keys so that he could correct the problem. I asked him if that enabled him to take control of my machine and he then put the phone down. Seems dodgy.

SCAM caller - called saying he's from my bank, quoted some card details (correct, must be on a stolen database) to say that Apple Pay / Contactless are down for 24-48 hours while they do upgrades. I didn't give him any info but somehow he managed to set up an Apple Pay with my card and stole £2,600 from our company account, on payday, 4 days before Christmas.
