I had a call from these following looking on line out of curiosity. I was given a lot of information to consider and said yes call back but I'm not sure. Got a pushy call back. When I said I wasn't interested the bloke kept asking why. He was so defensive I hung up. So he called back and got my husband, where he was really rude, said he'd gone to a lot of trouble for me. Now keeps calling and calling.

Yes, this is an automated "appointment verification" call from Cambridgeshire NHS (Addenbrookes) to verify and offer you options on an appointment that you or someone in your family has booked. All automated, like voter registration - "Press 1", "Press 2", etc. System will ring you several times in attempts to get answered.
