Randomly messaged me on Whatsapp, entirely in Chinese. Says he messaged me by mistake. Claimed to be a 39 year old man named Nick who works in import and travels between the UK, US and Hongkong. Not sure why he continued the conversation but I told him there's no reason to strike up a conversation with a mistaken number.
Came up on my Vodafone as suspected scam so I didn't answer it! I run a business & it's really hard to tell nowadays business calls from scams. They seem to have so many personal details (& I'm as careful as I can be)!!!

SCAM said my sky internet had been compromised I asked how much do I need to pay the foreign voice said nothing he can sort if I can give him access to my computer. I asked him what my name and address was he said he knows I asked again what are they and he hung up.
Said they were from EE and had a promotional offer. Then asked what I pay for my service. Suspicious. I hung up immediately.

BT is not my ISP, but call using a local Derby number told me that BT is the parent company of all Interned and Broadband services, not true! Called today 21.07.23, Indian sounding call centre claimed they could save me 30% of my O2 bill, I am not with O2, and when I asked where they found my number they said it was from a generated call list.
