The number = 01709889223, this number phoned me today (at 13:08 on 1st March 2022) and the caller stated they were from BT OUTBOUND ringing about my telephone. They were indian, male and middle aged, they identified themselves as John Martin. I am ex-directory and my phone is registered with the telephone preference service to block sales calls and unwanted calls. I checked online and the number was listed as Indian and Rotherham based. Scam or spam calling illegally obtaining my number
SCAM- knew my name and said it was a very urgent call re a technical difficulty with my policy which meant my life assurance policy could not be renewed. I told him I wasn't interested in scams and hung up. He then tried to ring me back 5 times. I have now blocked the number.
Called on 14th March 2022 by this O2 number and I'm not with O2 as my service provider. Why phone me!
