I have had umpteen calls from this number and finally got an answer when I picked up. This caller said they were selling Solar panels.
I have also had the silent and then Goodbye calls from this number. Today I spoke to two of their agents on two seperate calls. The company is called Consumer Care Direct based in Manchester and claim to save money for you, as long as you give them some. After telling the first caller that I would be reporting them to TPS I received another call 3 minutes later from an arrogant agent calling himself Victor. I have had the same problem with this no. had charges of £6.45 for 1 second! Also 0901172715 is coming up and charging the same, not sure how any of these have made my bill in total be £34.80!
After searching on line for energy and insurance comparisons this numbers has been ringing several times a day. I have not answered it.
Probable Fraud/Scam - Heavily Indian accented female called Rachel called me purporting to be working for Microsoft at the Reading Campus. Claimed there was a problem with my computer and "bad people were using it for bad things on the internet". Told me she would deactivate my computer if I didn't do what she said. Got quite rude when I told her I didn't believe her. Stalled her for 5 minutes before she hung up on me.
