I hung up, I'm not even with BT, but nice try morons! Called the number back and its non existent. No search on Google brings anything up for it either. Even though it is a message from a local number, this appears to be a banking scam -

Maria Wilson from BT Openreach, telling me my IP address has changed from private to public. Very insistent that I was in high danger. Told me she was calling from Hammersmith, London - on a Cardiff number?? Obviously a scam, knew that from the word go but kept stringing her along for 10 mins before I put the phone down on her.
Complete scam that told me I registered for bitcoins and when I asked for their details and information they hung up.

An robot appearing to be a person, asked about the accident I was in recently. Because I like to play with these people I answered from questions - e.g. yes I'd had an accident, but didn't remember anything about it. After a short while I was transferred to a real person, who I simply didn't say anything until they hungup on me. How are these people allowed to operate these phishing / scamming services? They're worse the the PPI people.
