Sales call, said were from O2. When asked how she had obtained my number, she was evasive. Asian accent, so thought it was from overseas. I am subscribed to the telephone preference service, so should not be getting marketing or sales calls. I cut them off and blocked.

Missed a call to my mobile from this unknown local Nottingham number. Suspicious as I haven't given my number to any but a handful of friends, and my doctor/dentist/pharmacy. No message left. Another caller-trace service says this number was first detected 11 days ago, but there were no reports about it. When I checked 10 minutes ago, *this* service said there had been 16 searches in the last 10 days. Now when I've returned 20 minutes later it says there have been 20 searches. A chap from a loft insulation company. Seemed genuine but I had my doubts, he didn't tell me what company he was from. He didn't pressure me into buying anything. Just said my loft insulation was inefficient, I just put the phone down and blocked the number.
Came up on my Vodafone as suspected scam so I didn't answer it! I run a business & it's really hard to tell nowadays business calls from scams. They seem to have so many personal details (& I'm as careful as I can be)!!!

Fraud called telling me that somebody in the USA has just spent £600 on my debit card and to stop payment they needed my sort number for my account when I said I will contact my bank myself they hung up.
Didn't answer, but tried calling it back and the call doesn't connect. Will add to the block list.
Had a few missed calls from this number. No voice mail left, so blocked number. They then used slightly different number so that is now blocked.
Somehow knew my mobile phone network, offered me 30% discount and would transfer me to a supervisor. Did not mention my name or his. Scam. Number blocked. Do the same.
