4th time I have had a Microsoft scam attempt. Asian person who gets very agitated if you tell him that he is running a scam. Told me that he could already get into my computer so he was going to lock me out.He rang back but I did not answer the phone

Just to confirm, after my previous post I reported this number to the police, who said it definitely is a scam, and that Microsoft would never call you about this sort of thing. These people will generally want remote access to your computer to "fix a virus" or something like that. They show you some files that they know every computer has and tell you they re harmful, which is completely untrue. They then use the remote access to steal from you. Called my elderly grandad just now (isn?t the first time). He couldn?t understand him so passed the phone to me. An Indian man calling from ?Remote Security? and enquiring about a ?computer or laptop in your house? I told him we didn?t have either and he carried on trying to talk, so I repeated that we didn?t have either and to not call again and he hung up. Expecting a call again tomorrow as that?s what happened last time I told them not to call
