Received automated call on 11 Nov 2016 at 8:59. Female voice with Indian accent said "I am ... calling from BT and it is about your broadband line". I said I knew she was not from BT and she hung up. This scam has been going on for several days. It appears to be a spoof number, you cannot call back.
Fraud They claim to be HMRC and you will be prosecuted if you don't return the call. The language gets quite amateurish towards the end of the message. It is obviously a fraud as I have a self-assessment online account with HMRC and any messages they want to send me are processed through that account. Not sure what the scam is but just ignore it.
Called to say I had had a car accident within last three years and was after details. Have had no such accident.

Had this number - 01269849892 - ring today 7/10/15, this Asian sounding guy wanted to speak to my wife, I told him no, what did he want ? and that she wasn t available, I then told him that my number was ex-directory, he insisted he wanted to talk to her, so I told him you re not listening do NOT ring this number again.... Internet Called advising they were from Sky. My internet was corrupted and IP address stolen. They would be sending engineers. I know Sky do not work this way. Asian sounding gentleman gave name as Gavin James Feels like a scam as all through states wont cost a penny. Told him my husband is a police inspector. Call ended.
