I called back the number after abvout the 10th missed call. They are a company called MJE who want me to make a claim for missold PPI due to a loan or credit card. I didn t take PPI so told them they were wrong. Asked how they got my number, they get their phone list from a company called DLG Marketing. Told them to take me off the list, we ll see if I get anymore calls.

This organisation is not permitted to do what it does. The scheme that it refers to is " It will be the LA’s responsibility to make sure the criteria chosen allow them to identify eligible households. This is a company based in Mumbai trading as Web to Wealth. Using all sorts of numbers. if you block any they call from, they just come up with a new one. here s how they get your details. they have registered with the whois who directory for web domains and every time someone buys a domain but does not buy privacy from whois who, they capture it and ring you like crazy, as if there is no tomorrow. Be careful don t disclose bank / credit account details. this is how they get your money even if you don t go

3 calls yesterday and 2 so far today. Called trying to arrange a survey of the property for Solar Panels, told that they were not trying to sell me anything (yeh right) but a surveyor just happens to be in the area. Made no mention of the fact that they were fined £80,000 last month by the ioc for lying to people over the phone.

This number is Dual Energy an electricity/gas supply company whom I have an account with.

They had the cheek to call me again - when I was busy of course - with their wretched recorded message saying it was not too late. I think they can be prosecuted for this harassment and dishonesty, pretending people have claims when they know nothing about whether they have or not, and be heavily fined.
