Call tonight claiming to be from the Telephone Preference Service and asking if I received cold calls. A man with an Asian accent on a crackly line in a call centre then informed me that my subscription was about to expire. Clearly a scam so I told him what I thought of him and hing up. The number is not registered - is it not time that the phone companues filtered calls from unregistered numbers to stop this sort of abuse as it is untraceable.

Unfortunately, the development of technology is a tumb up in our lives as well as a tumb down for our security and privacy. In this case is better not to answer and the ringing stops if dismissed.

SCAM / SPAM - Money making !! Be aware!! I was told that they have my email and mobile number from the site I have registered before, but when I asked which one, they could not tell me?!?!?! I did ask them to stop calling me and to delete my mobile number as well as email from their database number of times and they called again !!
