Telemarketing - Grace from Adecco Recruitment, apparently - cold-texted via WhatsApp!! Won't be opening the message, as don't wish for it to appear as having been read. How's she gotten my phone number anyhow? Annoying to say the least!
Number unknown to me, so did not answer. No voicemail left, so assume it was a sales/spam call.

I got a call this morning from this same and it sounded like an Indian person on the other line asking for my name and then it immediately dropped. I call back the number and the voice note confirmed that the number has been theft from another user and is now been used for SCAM and that none shouldn’t entertained it. Information 07355 118732 sent me a text message. HSBC: Direct Debit successfully set up to EE for 183GBP, if this was NOT YOU call us on 01313785729. I don`t bank with HSBC, but anyway, tried to call the number given. This just rings for a couple of minutes then get a message saying the mailbox is full. Therefore, both the mobile and landline numbers given are SPAM.

Fraud called themselves Virgin Mobile but later found to be Cheetay Logistics PVT Ltd (pakistan) took loads of details promising to reduce monthly Phone bills and provide a new phone. After asking for passwords and discussing a new contract, bank details were taken and phone to be delivered. They tried to then scam £13,065.01 out of a bank account starting with a £9.35 delivery charge, a £30 bank check then took a £24 charge further amounts stopped bank details changed and reported to the fraud squad.

Fraud Had text claiming to be be from Starling Bank - text came through on same message thread as previous verification code so I thought it was genuine. Text advised suspicious activity in my account for which they would be contacting by phone (which they did the next day) They already had lots of my identifying info and put me through other checks. They’d cleared thousands out of my account by the time I’d called Starling bank a few hours later.

Telephone call from 07979 752324 at 10:23 on Thursday 23 March. Female caller requested one minute to ask personal questions. Replied "no", however female caller carried on speaking. Did not answer any questions. Believe caller fishing for personal information in order to start some type of fraud. Female caller then terminated call, so number then blocked immediately.
SCAM. Woman with strong Asian (sounded Indian) accent purporting to be calling from Microsoft informing me of urgent high risk to my computer etc---. I hung up and on checking discovered the number to belong to A&M Todd, a flooring company in Burnley.
