I received 3 calls in a day. I Googled the number and saw this and other threads. The girl said she was called Sophie Joyce (surname given after I questioned her for it) and the company she was working for was Outspire Insource on behalf of EE. Started trying to sell me some new deals. I revealed that I had Googled the number and had read that a number of people had posted to say it was a scam. In that situation, if it was a proper company acting as they claim then I d expect the other person to deny it was

At 1050 30 October 2013 I received a call from a male calling himself "Keith" saying he was from Santander Bank and he wanted to talk to me about my account. He said he wanted to run through some security checks with me at which I said that I was not prepared to give any personal information on a "cold call" because, I told him, I was very suspicious. A call stating they were from the Citizens Advice regarding debts and then thankfully call got cut off as I kept asking why they were calling!!!

Automated voice said "This is Her Majesty's Customs and Revenue". I hung up reckoning it was a scam with the robotic posh voice. Also, its known as Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs for a start! Anyway, beware and best avoid.

Rang me three times this week asking for Mr Woodward. Told them wrong number the first time. The third time she started saying well this call may be of interest to you. I told them no it isn t. At no point did they introduce themselves.

Claimed to be "Will Associates" did not let them say any more.

Received a call from this number this afternoon. Told me he was calling about a recent road collision that was made, I told him I haven't had any road collision or accident...
