Wanted address information. Told him that i was not prepared to give any personal information.

Was rung by this number - automatic voice message regarding my supposed visa account having no money in it, £95 aparantly taken. Cut off the call. Checked banking - no such issue. Scam call. Hard as its a local number so elderly when seeing number would possibly assume local bank.

SCAM Fraud : Indian lady called "Eliza" claiming to be from Virgin Media, asked how I was then hung up.
Silent calling. Then hanging up. The block of numbers used have also been associated with scams as well (from other sites).
This number is used by Brighthouse head office in Watford, they are a pain in the arse, and use several similar numbers from the Watford code but are a legitimate company. they are usually rining about late payments ect.
Maybe an automated call from a call-centre etc,, as just got engaged tone when answering it. So a bit suspicious.

This number called this morning claiming to be from my broadband provider and said there were problems with my broadband. Told him I had no such problems and said goodbye. He knew who my broadband provider is. I’m not sure how to rate this because I don’t listen any further. How easily could he con someone else to do what ?

I answered the phone, silence, then a recorded message said they were RMG and they could not connect me to one of their advisers at the moment, If I wish to call them back then they would connect me to an adviser. Obviously a "sales call" trying to get me to part with my money. Conclusion: Illegal activity.

Call received to my mobile 13.19 11/2. I get very few incoming calls hence suspected Spam call immediately. Decided to answer to have a bit off fun with the likely scammer but call cut off by the other party (remote dialler ?) as I went to answer. SCAM Had the name of the person who had my number a decade ago. Told me that person had given them this number when bought a washing machine in 2018. When I pointed this out they hung up so I could not find out the nature of the scam. But number could have been spoofed.
