A cold call. Caller said that I had a problem with my internet for 3 weeks and his engineers were fixing the problem. Caller did not use my name or the name of my internet provider. Caller did not answer any of my questions but carried on reading from his script. I am sure that this was some sort of SCAM attempt. As usual I did not give the caller any information that would identify me or any account that I may have.

They tried offering me a £35 contact for 24 months for a Samsung S23 ultra, which was too good to be true worked out at (£840.00). So this number comes up for a Polish restaurant Folk House Zakopane in London. Well they'd have no reason to be calling people out of the the blue and 'Max' claimed he was calling from Carphone Warehouse.
