This was a recorded message telling me that £600 had been debited from my account and asking me to press 1 to respond. I have now blocked the number.

Automated message from National Insurance provides a case number to dial 1 with the thread you are in breach of legal blocking.. I hung up

Has rung my landline and my mobile phone. No message has been left on either phones and when returning calls, they are unanswered.

likes others have said, they call several times a week and hang up if you ever answer. I got a "free" warranty from them when I brought a second hand car, now I m guessing they are trying to get me to extend this warranty as it s about to run out.

so angry, now had 5 calls from this number, and can t call it back, nobody speaks. Rang us at 11.15pm and again between 1 and 2am last night. registered with TPS but they can t stop it and BT can t help unless we pay for a blocker and different phones. So wrong these companies can do this to the public, also scary when phone rings in the middle of the night

Been a rash of these lately from different numbers. They ring and when you don t answer they send a text message from the number to say you missed a call from that number. Designed to appear as a normal phone notification, it s actually a text message from the caller. Far too dodgy to bother with. Suspect some kind of premium rate scam. Blocked obvs.

Unknown caller, wrong number message when I tried to ring back. Similar nmber to one I did answer which was saying I'd had a no fault accident. Of course I haven't!

NEVER call an unknown number back as you may be calling a Premium Rate or International number which will add a very large charge to your bill.
