Just received call from this number claiming to be Domestic and General - to ‘discuss’ a ‘washing machine’ policy I don’t have!
These peoople have used my neighbours telephone number and charged her for the call. They used it while she was away. They must be doing a scam on a reverse call .

23 has called twice in two days, and when answered there was no response. Tried phoning the number - got an American sounding recording voice saying this phone number was now no longer operational.

Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. Similar numbers are reported as a telemarketing - scam PPI calls mainly. Did someone answer any number of this range? Is there any reason why companies use line with shared costs for just ringing you and left no message (other than scam...)? If this was a silent call for you, do not call back for any reason! Missed call - answerphone recording of the end of an automated message regarding local county courthouse. I rang back - reached a call centre answering as HM customs. I hung up ass I didn't want to give them my name.
Tried to sell me a "small business" O2 phone contract that could "save me money", said I wasn't interested .. the caller was courteous and professional at all times though, so if its a scam it was a very courteous one.
