SCAM Claims to be from EE Customer Care. Does not ask if they’re speaking to an account holder or go through security. Clearly reading from a script, trying to encourage you to take one of their “deals”. Won’t take “not interested” as an answer. 00918045708684 called 30 May 23 at 10:38hours. Female voice advised that my "visa account had been debited £1xxxx from a gambling ??? in California, press 1 to talk to our ???. or 2 to authorise payment ", hung on for a short while to hear if anything followed..... nothing so hung up.

07530836343 rang saying calling from my bank, I have two accounts and they did not say which, also rang on my landline which I rarely use. Told me there was suspect dealings and started asking questions. I don't think my bank would ring me from a mobile so I hung up.

Randomly messaged me on Whatsapp, entirely in Chinese. Says he messaged me by mistake. Claimed to be a 39 year old man named Nick who works in import and travels between the UK, US and Hongkong. Not sure why he continued the conversation but I told him there's no reason to strike up a conversation with a mistaken number.

Called twice. Recorded message suggesting two payments made from my account £300 from Amazon and £1000 international payment might be a scam and that I should press 1 or 2. I know it wasn't from my bank. Believe it's a scam call from a premium number that charges extortionate amount per minute.
SCAM An incomprehensible squeaky voice on the usual bad callcenter line and given an O2 security code turned up a few seconds later that's presumably what they were asking for to scam my account. Nothing good to be found here.
