I have just received the same call, saying they are working with Nominet. They told me all of the Nominet info about our domain, to make them seem legitimate, but obviously anyone can see this info. I refused to give any info at all, and at that point his tone changed and he said he will send an email confirming who they are. Still waiting for email!!!!!

SCAM - offered 40% discount on my next bill, when I asked who they were they said it was for my phone bill. I asked if it was Vodafone and she said yes, then asked how much I was paying for my phone bill and what kind of device I had - all information she should have been able to gather from my account. Call center, SCAM. Claimed to be calling on behalf of mobile phone provider but didn't know who owned the phone and wanted name and address. Wouldn't give his name when challenged. Loud call centre. Strong Indian accent. Called mid Sunday afternoon.

SCAM Asian sounding lady called "Lisa Williams" apparently calling about my bt openreach box experiencing problems.I don't have bt, told where to go. This seems to be a pattern of using the surname Williams, I'm expecting Robbie to phone me next as I've had "Charles"on the phone too lol!

A man rang from this number, I think he said from PAC - had my name and said I had been advised by a financial adviser to move my pension. When I asked where he got this information, he said from Pensionwise. As far as I am aware Pensionwise do not have such information. I said I had not seen a financial advisor or been advised to move my pension. The man was very polite and rang off. I was suspicious and think it could have been a dangerous if I had shared financial info.

I have no idea who called from this number but did say his name was Julian in a text . But is a scam I am sure if it ..

Phoned today claiming to be from AMAZON about an order placed last night through my account. First error as I don't have an AMAZON account. They sent a 6-digit code to use when I cancelled my order and said they would phone back, surprise surprise I am still waiting on that return call.

SPAM - phoned claiming to be with Association of British Insurers regarding an accident I had then started asking for personal details. After hanging up I was called back 15+ times before blocking the number.

Text message left claiming to be from a child of mine, but didn’t give a name. Asked me to WhatsApp them and this was their new number, for a new phone as the old number was for the old damaged phone. It just struck me as odd so ignored and then blocked the number. I believe it was an attempt to get me to engage and was a scam.
