SCAM. Answered the phone to hear a recorded message saying that a tax fraud claim had been raised against me and if I did not discuss this immediately that somebody will be sent to my house with a warrant for my arrest.
I already experienced the "press a key" strategy of those bloody scammers. you ll be relayed to a really expensive premium rate line. hands off any keys!

Received a scam call from this number and asked me if my mobile number is registered under my name. Hanged up the phone after I asked who is calling.
SCAM recorded voice claims the call is from BT Internet to say that there has been suspicious activity on my account. Invites me to press 1 to talk "To an Executive to resolve the issue". This is the first call from this number. I didn't answer it because it don't know the identity of the caller. Must be a nuisance call as no voicemail was left.

Courier / National Merchant Buying Society Ltd. Thought that this was a scam but turned out is was a delivery company for a door I had ordered.
Caller said he was from Microsoft. Said that my PC had been compromised by hackers. After leading him on for a while I asked him straight if he was after money. He said that he was trying to help but then threatened to lock up my computer. I hung up.

Asking for company information. Had old company details and didn't know who to ask for. Assuming these are a scam.
They have aquired your mobile number via an old loan application. They say that they have loan application when infact they only have your name and number. if you pay them a fee and then they promise to call you in 48 hours, you will never hear from them again and may block your number - ho and empty your bank account. DO NOT GIVE THEM BANKING DETAILS ESPECIALLY DEBIT CARD DETAILS. INDIAN SCAM, LETS HOPE THEY GET A LARGER EARTH QUAKE IN FUTURE.

Putting this in the “rude comedy scam” label. It CANNOT SURELY be a genuine bona fide call. I suspect the “Closed at UK time 14.30” aspect makes it a foreign caller, disguised: SUSPICIOUS!!
