This number called my mobile and claimed to be from HMRC. Said that I was being investigated for fraud and that if I did not press "1" to be connected then a warrant for my arrest would be issued immediately. I hung up, of course.

SCAM Purporting to be from our internet provider, saying they have attempted to contact us several times without success. They ask you to press 1 to speak with a manager! Do not press 1, total scam & the line will stay engaged if you hang up until the automation has gone fully through its spiel.
Had a call from this number today firstly on my mobile which I managed to reject. It immediately then rang my landline which I didn t answer. Who are these people and how did they get my mobile number? When you ring the number back they don t identify themselves and ask you to leave a message. Sounds very dodgy so be aware.

Woman claiming to be called 'Daisy' calling from the diesel emissions team. Asking for someone called Ray Shell. She had an Indian accent and promptly hung up when advised there is no such person as Ray Shell on this number.

SCAM - I believe this number to be part of a convincing scam! Caller claimed to be from 'Motor Assess' regarding a recent accident. Interestingly I had a minor touch in my car yesterday and exchanged insurance details, so I thought was related, but the individual I was speaking to didn't quite seem convincing and couldn't give me any details, I googled 'motor assess' whilst speaking to him, with no trace of the company! The person I was talking to was persuasive and persistent!

This is a scam caller pretending to be from a Lyca phone provider offering cheap contracts, the company they are pretending to be are Mobiles.co.uk. They tried offering me a £35 contact for 24 months for a Samsung S23 ultra, which was too good to be true worked out at (£840.00). I explained I did not trust cold callers, so they asked me for an email address. They sent me the email which looked genuine. But it had a different number to the one one the official website. Phone rings - telltale pause of call handling system - south african accent asks for me by name followed by the phrase which instantly makes a cold call fail - "How are you today"
Caller phoned saying they had information about an accident I had. When told I had no accident and they should not call again, she hung up. I ve now added number on my black list and sent them an SMS.
SCAM Coputer voice said they were BT and there was suspicious activity on our phone line and they were going to disconnect it. Press 1 for ? or Press 2 to speak to someone about it. As we have not been a BT customer for nearly a year and do not use there phone line. We are with Virgin that does not use BT lines. It was a scam ! I did not press any number as it would probably cost us money. This company have 100's of numbers under the same prefix and change every last numbers every few day.
