Called today, asked for me by name (worrying as he said he got my number from price comparison sites, not possible as I always give 999999etc) said he was phoning to overhaul my life insurance .I have been registered with TPS and ex directory for decades.

Its a company called Boomi , trying to sell me a cloud solution as they must have got my details from Linkedin. Genuine company , just telemarketing to I.T. people.

Just ring me and hang up on answering. I have a terminally ill parent and don't need this! Go forth and multiply

I didn t actually answer but I uploaded a CV to total jobs yesterday & got my first call today..

This number called me yesterday, and several times today. I picked up the most recent call and a girl laughed down the phone and hung up. No attempt to sell me anything or talk about pensions, as other comments have said, just straightforward nuisance call. Have now blocked them.

The claim to be partnered with Microsoft and gain confidence with all the classic scam talk. If you do get scammed, they will access your computer via remote access, go through your email, install software and who knows what else.
