Automated call - Didn't answer, then got a 5s voicemail of a Liverpool accent (phone had auto-identified dialling code as Liverpool) saying "ah right, OK, well we'll take you off our list then". I suspect this was an automated response after my voicemail "answered" to say not available, leave your message etc. and voicemail recorded tail end of the response. Crafty.

Fraud Some absolute cabbage tried to send me a text message saying they were unable to process my latest payment for O2. I don't have an account with O2. Had been pre-warned by family/friends that these type of text messages have been circulating. Do not open message and certainly do not click on the link(s) provided.
I received 4 calls today from above number plus 01606 866819, 07072 038865, 01386 708385. nAlways the same recorded message starting at 08.25 this morning and finishing at 14.11...

Claimed to be from BT and said did we know our hub needed updating and would need daily adjustment...sounded like a caller from India.
Another scam, "the insurance on my washing machine has expired..." Avoid like the plague.
Text message saying HSBC: A New Payee request was created from an unrecognised device. You can Authorise or Cancel this request via https….....hsbc.required-verifications.com/payees/.
Very official sounding assets and collections they where investigating me for fraud, I declined to give any details about myself, advised I would receive a letter, I rung the number back and enquired who they where and who they where collecting on behalf of, not so aggressive when you ring them! Rather nasty scare tactics, I have reported it to debt collection charities.
Similar call to other comments. Loft lagging can cause condensation and we ll do a free survey. etc etc. Hung up and number blocked

They are working with or on behalf of O2. They are trying to get people who have just applied for a pay and go sim to upgrade to a contract sim. It s a bloody pain in the backside the amount of times they call. You would think that after ringing someone 2 or 3 times without the phone being answered they would give up but No. I answer and make them wait on the line lol

Recorded voice purporting to be National Crime Agency reporting issues with my National Insurance. Call was then answered by someone who sounded a woman who sounded Asian and outside. When I said the call was fraudulent, they rang off
A probable phishing call. Said from Mastercard to nSay £600 had been taken from my account by a foreign account.
Immediately put the phone down when I picked up the call. I did not speak at all.
