silent call from this number. I have reported to Ofcom - you can do this at https://ofcomforms.secure.force.com/formentry/SitesFormCCTSilentCalls (very bad form though - kept being rejected as they don t make it clear that you need to enter all phone numbers without and spaces!)

Daniel Bennett - Claiming to be from BT local business - saying our contract was expired, but we just renewed it, and said payment data but didnt line up with our bank statement at all. I was cautious. He didn't seem to mind I put the phone down so guessing it wasn't important I spoke to him!

bogus competition scam
Checked number elsewhere as no comments here. Some say British gas (number on their website) re smart meters, some say call disconnected if you ask questions, some say messages received like from aliens...? I don t know but would like to bar these calls. Going for 5 as not sure what it really is!

I used to work for this company. The call themselves various names including: "Anderson Beard Limited", "Hardy Evans Limited" and "Quick Quote Life".and operate out of several offices in the Swansea Area. They do telemarketing for Life, Car and Commercial Vehicle Insurance, PPI Claims, Industrial Deafness Claims and "Market Research" which is then used to target you for further telesales. Essentially, anything they offer, you can get cheaper elsewhere. Try asking them if they are "cheaper than cavendish?

Automated service claiming to be HMRC wanting payment for a fraud case and if not paid a warrent will be issued. Scam at its worse.
