Rang on my mobile after I gave mobile number for some car insurance quotes. When I answered there was no one there.

No one spoke it was silent at the other end for ages then they hung up

Missed call

Ws called by someone with a Manchester accident telling me I was involved in an accident in Sept 2014 and the 3rd party had come forward claiming to still be experiencing discomfort from it. There was no accident, when I told him this and asked him what he was playing at he hung up. I have now blocked this number but from all these comments it appears they use several different types of numbers.

why has this number come up "International" plus many other numbers all international pre fix.

These people obtain, STEAL, your tel. number from your ip address via metadata. Ever come accross annoying adverts when browsing online which doesn t let you close? ie. Engadget, youtube etc... Mine was a survey which popped up whilst online and I had to wait 20secs inorder to dismiss that advert. Enduring the agonising 20 secs. They called and wanted to talk about an accident which I never had when I told him I will report them to police he said he s calling from Insurance Investigation Company and got rude so I told him not to call me anymore and blovked their number. Do not trust them to share any information

I was called by 01131132840 today 15/12/14, Indian sounding lady, telling me she has been tracking my use an can see my Computer has various problems, virus etc and that she can help me, usual rubbish. knowing that she was going to try and access my PC to either download virus or steal my personal info I asked her sarcasticaly do u need to remotely access my computer?! She answered I m not saying that and immediately hung up on me!

Caller then rang off after I d googled "The review team" and found several sites showing issues.

This number has tried to call me twice now - each time making me leap up from some other activity and hence a damn nuisance. Tried to call back and get a continuous tone. Absolutely despise these people who intrude on my life.

Non stop calls since last Wednesday, sometimes three times a day. I don?t know anyone from Scotland and I?m not signed up to any sort of company in Scotland. I very rarely give out my number to people who aren?t family, so I?m very confused as to how the ?company? has my information. It?s definitely a dodgey number by all accounts.

This number has called us over 15 times in the last week, each time it is a different person giving very generic names. They are all following a script and say that someone on this number has had an accident. We are a business and nobody has had an accident - we have informed the callers on numerous occasions to remove us from their call list but this still has not happened.
