Supposedly Amazon calling about suspicious activity in our account. We don't have an account! Called 6.37am.
Call received at 0918am 09/02/2018. Local accent with no foreign overtones.I rang off. The number shown bears no resemblance to that of my bank contact number.
SCAM - Received a call from their number. Computer female voice telling me my MasterCard had been used to make a payment to a foreign country for £600. That's when I hung up. Really am getting sick to my teeth of scammers - phone, email, text etc. It is time the Government did something to stop it!!!

Had several missed calls, no message ever left. I have since answered one of them, the lady had my name, number, street and started to try to sell me something? I stopped her and asked who she was again "Money club, part of the groupon group" was the answer. As I don t have a groupon account and have never shown any interest in one, I decided to ask her to end the call with no sale and take me off the calling list. She just hung up. First I got a call on my Mobile from a number showing as New York - didn t answer. Then I got a call a coupel of minutes later from 07418342582, ostensibly a UK Mobile. Answered and got a recorded message in Arabic (or Greek, or similar). I hung up. A few minutes later a text with a Telegram code number, asking me to click a link. Obviously I didn t as I know nothing about this. Beware!
