Received call out of the blue. Said they were from BT. Said there was a problem with my line & wanted to sort it, after 19 mins the line went dead. They wanted me to download an app, using Google store to check my tablet device ID.

Robo call with English accent, for a change, calling himself Daniel from Amazon customer services. I don't have an amazon account so hung up obviously.

I have no idea who these people are or how then got my number
ppi sales, repeated that i allready done mine but carried on regardless. gettin flussted with them keep ringing.
I got a text from this number pretending to have a verification number for Microsoft. I refreshed the website and got Microsoft to send me another a verification number. When Microsoft text you, it will say MICROSOFT. If a mobile number comes up, DO NOT USE THAT CODE.
Amazingly, this is a *valid* number from an actual business!! It's some bunch called "Let's Subscribe", trying to flog magazine subscriptions. For me, that qualifies the call as spam so I have blocked the number.
