Robotic voice informing me that they were from American Express Visa and they had just stopped £600 being taken from my account. Press 1 for details, I don't have such an account . Obviously a SCAM. Get a proper job you thieving scum.
Be wiser car insurance. Phoned twice within 5 minutes of online quote.
Caller was alleging there was a problem with my National Insurance Number and said 'it is urgent that I made contact by pressing 1 on my keyboard, now.' I cancelled the call. The caller had a very educated and cultured voice.

Genunine company wanting to save you money. I used to work for them, doing energy comparisons. Sister company does insurance. Not scammers, check yourself.
This is a marketing source company which passed or sold my data to other companies

SCAM “Hello this is BT Internet we have been trying to get hold of you without success, we have detected some unusual activity on your account so will disconnect your phone and Internet. To speak to an advisor press 1” I pressed hang up as don’t have either service with BT nor an account with them.
With that unissued number, probably a scammer.

We realised this was a scam by ME CLUB unfortunatly after I had given them my card number. They say in their sales pitch that they will not withdraw any money until you receive the magazine & agree to a membership. I thought I was safe as I didn t tell them the 3 digit "security number" WRONG. They debited £1 within 1 minute of the call & 3 days later attempted to debit £65. Luckily I had realised it was a scam & contacted my credit cards helpdesk. who cancelled my card & blocked the later attempted withdra
