SCAM Received a text message from this number (supposedly HSBC) saying i had authorised a payment of £195.00 to Mr C Jones. The message goes onto say that if it was not me, to cancel by clicking the link in the message. They must think i was born yesterday! Firstly i have never owned an HSBC account, secondly i don't know a Mr C Jones and thirdly, i would NEVER click a link in a text message even if i knew who the message was from!
Caller said (with a very Asian accent)she was "Mary-Not-Selling just asking your opinion, ok?" I said it wasn t OK and hung up. I could have said that my opinion was that she was at best a nuisance, but more likely a con artist.

We ve never opted in to accept these calls Strongly suspect phishing for info and not who their automated answer message presents to be Their opt out no.selection is possibly premium rate scam-as I never opted IN in first place!

Ws called by someone with a Manchester accident telling me I was involved in an accident in Sept 2014 and the 3rd party had come forward claiming to still be experiencing discomfort from it. There was no accident, when I told him this and asked him what he was playing at he hung up. I have now blocked this number but from all these comments it appears they use several different types of numbers.
