This has all of the Hallmarks of a Nuisance call, " it rings you sit a few seconds wondering, you pic up say "hello" and instantly, it hangs up!!
Came up as Italy number. Left a voice msg stating it was Amazon and they would be taking money out of my account. I had to press 1 to speak to a manager!!! nDelete and block!!!...
Hangup call, no message.
Cold calling... since I don't know the niumber and checked only to find that the number had been checked 90 times before me within the last two days alone, I'd put my money on spam callers...

BEWARE - THIS IS NOT THE TELEPHONE PREFERENCE SERVICE. They call themselves Telephone Preference Management and say they are able to block all nuisance calls. They ask you to confirm your name & address so they can be sure they are speaking to the person who can give consent for your telephone number to be added to their nuisance call blocking service. I said my number was not to be added to anything they provide at which point the indian sounding voice at the other end of the line started getting louder. I

Caller launched straight into his sales script - something about energy efficiency double glazing, so I hung up. He called straight back so I hung up again without speaking. Called back third time so I told him politely that we do not accept unsolicited calls & my number is registered with TPS . Therefore he should not be calling, and please don’t call again. He wasn’t listening but continued with his script regardless whilst I was talking. Then told me to “Shut my F*****g mouth up” And hung up.
