I received a call about 20 minutes before I posted this. I have placed it in the category of debt collection but perhaps debt management would be a better description. In the recorded call, I was advised that I should leave an email requesting that I should take my name off their database if I so required. I decided not to do this as clearly there is no way of me knowing whether this method of contact is trustworthy. I did however google the company via a freephone number - the number of which I have forgot

Called me about a car accident ...well a hit and run. Started going on about compensation and then he asked if I had whatsapp!!!! And said he s going to message me tonight!!!! I was like no you are not!!! When I asked to speak to his manager he asked if I was going to report him. Then admitted he has no manager. I told him if he contacts me through a private number I will contact the police.

Don't fall in their trap.
