It?s so nice to be told that there is a problem with my Windows pc by ?Microsoft?. When I asked for the windows licence tag number (as per the sticker on the PC and on the installation disk) the number they offered was bogus, not even the correct number of digits. Must admit that it was enjoyable to waste the chap?s time although he probably is being paid a pittance in a call centre overseas.
SCAM / SPAM Not a gennuuine call from supposed Service Provider This was definitely not my Service Provider as it purported to be BT.
