As others suggest, the nature of the call was to check if I was on the best possible energy tariff. Despite the fact that they called me and knew my name, and First Direct are my energy provider, the caller asked ME to confirm security details - this, for me, is a deal-breaker: if I call a provider on their registered number I will confirm security details, but not if I am called from an unrecognised number; for my part, this is poor professional practice.
